Our Mission

The CLUS project will build on activities initiated under EMUS Project in continuation of the solid waste collection and disposal as well as construction of a new sanitary landfill in Cheesemanburg to replace the existing landfill in Whein Town which has a limited lifespan of less than two years.
To ensure smooth implementation of the Project, MCC has set up a Project Implementation Unit (PIU), housed in MCC.
The Unit is headed by a Project Coordinator (PC), and will be supported by several staff, including a Procurement Specialist and a Safeguards Officer.

Waste collection and disposal to our disposal sites is our everyday responsibility. The Hygiene and sanitation of Monrovia City and it's environs has become out altimate priority.

Our business is to help the local governments as well as private institutions improve waste management. As illustrated by the president and head of state of the republic of Liberia and other well meaning citizens, maintaining a clean and safe environment for us all is our altimate goal. So we are taking all necessary steps to make sure we archieve our goals.
